Advisor Exchanges are virtual gatherings held on the third Tuesday of each month. The sessions last one hour. The room opens at 6:30 pm to allow for casual conversation and meeting new advisors...or just to de-stress for a few minutes with others who experience the joys and challenges of teaching and advising in North Carolina middle and high schools. The session starts promptly at 7:00 pm and concludes at 8:00 pm. The Advisor Exchanges focus on a timely topic of interest, an opportunity to ask questions, get updates on upcoming NCASC events, and share with other advisors. We normally have an experienced advisor to present the topic of the evening, often someone from outside North Carolina so new ideas and perspectives can be shared.
Renewal Credit Available
One renewal credit (10 contact hours) is available if you attend all ten sessions during 2022-2023. However, the renewal credit can also be earned by attending a combination of Advisor Exchanges, District Leadership Conferences and the State Convention. Advisors seeking renewal credit must submit a brief evaluation form at the conclusion of each monthly session. NCASC will verify attendance and issue a certificate of completion in June to advisors who earn the renewal credit.
